#37

Unburdened,

The principle of your heart,

cloven beneath a willow,

behind the paddock,

between two loves,

a poet and a saint,

feet set in opposition as they were

before

perhaps, soon,

they will stumble upon the

wellspring of burgeoning self-knowledge,

an expression of the soul sustained

beyond the bounds of transcorporeality,

beyond the limits of her faith

perhaps, then,

the collector of curses

may lay down his curse,

and our sorrow,

contracting upon itself,

transcends itself

perhaps, then,

you too, will be

free
