Light-born,

sunlight, a shower,

wakes the dreamer

you, your chapter not yet written

yearn to close the page,

ink-worn, weary,

two souls, disconnected, yearn to be known,

yearning, cerebral,

hastens the dream,

my love,

exile, calling to you, bittersweet,

has sunk itself before between my shoulders,

exile, supplanting sleep,

blooms, a flower, dreaming,

upon my pages
