Bell-sworn

a child, shivering,

follows the glacial stair

ennui, overwhelming the day,

sinks, an anchor,

your fate, rewritten,

hides itself between streetlights  

my fate, disparate,

wishes upon a star,

my wish,

unable to speak or be spoken

finds itself, misunderstood

etched in pieces,

upon the wall
