Dreamer,

your heart, peeled open,

keeps its own confidence

desire, a stranger,

speaking in tongues

begets only sorrow,

you, again, plumbing the

depths of sorrow with your pen,

peeled open,

find yourself a stranger,

entangled

the world, untamed,

came before us,

reason, in the hands of blind men

corrupted, lifted us up

from the dirt

your heart, peeled open,

keeps its own confidence,

your heart, untangled in silence,

opens itself, alone,

to the silence
